April 10th, 2020 - Update

Dear CSCT April 2020 Exam Candidate,

Yardstick has made the difficult decision to extend their test centre closures to June 19th, 2020.

Given that the April sitting of the CSCT Certification Exam was postponed to June 1st through June 3rd, it will now be postponed further to August 10th & 11th. Again, these dates are tentative and the CSCT Exam Administration Team will be working closely with Yardstick to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make further adjustments as necessary.

The CSCT website will be updated next week and ask that all candidates follow these deadlines to ensure the exam administration runs smoothly.

If you wish to withdraw from this sitting of the exam without penalty, please do so before July 17th, 2020 by emailing examregistration@csct.ca. Any withdrawals received after this date will be subject to a $300 administration fee.

Please note that the September sitting of the exam has also been pushed back to allow for any candidates who are unsuccessful in the August sitting to have the chance to write again in a timely manner. The tentativedates for the postponed September sitting will be November 23rd through 25th.

The CSCT recognizes the importance of becoming a Registered Cardiology Technologist for employment and we appreciate your patience with this matter. We are trying our best to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons involved and hope that we can get the exam underway at the earliest convenience.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly.
