Southern Alberta Medical is a new health centre of medical Excellence. Key on-site servicds inclue consultation, cardiac stress testing, cardiac nuclear SPECT imaging, echocardiography, carotid ultrasound, electrocardiography, Holter Monitor, Ambulatory Blood Pressures monitors, Pulmonary function testing, CPAP, home oxygen and comprehensive cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Southern Alberta Medical is in the vibrant southeast commercial district of Medicine Hat. The 15000 square-foot facility is located on two acres of land and is currently being newly renovated. The facility will include a 3000 square-foot clinic, 4500 square-foot diagnostic lab, 2500 square-foot rehabilitation gym, 1000 square foot pharmacy and 4000 square-foot administrative space.
The President and Board of Directors are developing a team of 30 members including Cardiologists, Respirologists, General Internists, Cardiology Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Echocardiography Technologists, Respiratory therapists, Exercise Physiologists Medical office assistants, Pharmacists and Administrative staff.

Diploma in Cardiology Technology
Successful completion of the CSCT exam, Eligible for membership with the CSCT or ASRCT Association
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferably 1 year experience at an accredited Lab.
Current CPR and certificate-Level C Basic
Knowledge of ECG interpretation, willing to participate in continuing education and committees.
Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the position
