The following is the Criteria to write the Competency Based Certification Exam, to become a Cardiology Technologist registered with the CSCT.

• Candidates must first be an Associate/Student member of their Province

• Associate/Student members are the sole responsibility of the province.
• To become an Associate/Student member, you must be enrolled in a CSCT recognized Educational Program
• The fee for becoming an Associate/Student member is $75.

• All Associate/Student members are required to have the proper Educational Credentials (Certificate, Diploma) before they can sit the Registration Exam. The Registration Exam is held throughout the year. Please check with a Provincial Education Director for the next examination date.

Foreign Physicians wishing to challenge the CSCT Exam must submit their credentials, via an application form, to the CSCT Education Director.

Foreign Cardiology Technologists wishing to challenge the exams must also submit their credentials, via an application, to the CSCT Education Director and must have been a member of a Cardiology Association from their place of origin.
